Every modern democratic country holds elections, but not all elections are democratic. This means that international standards for democratic elections are also required to be fulfilled to be an election democratic. Elections are considered the central body of democratic representative governments.
In a democracy, government authority can only be obtained with the consent of the consent of the governor by conducting free and fair elections. Elections can be conflicting in nature, but the point is that even losers accept verdicts uncritically, thereby helping winners ensure their legitimacy. Losers, or opponents, need to know that losing an election does not mean they will die or be put in jail.
After all, democratic elections are not a struggle for physical survival, but a struggle for service. Election monitoring is an integral part of human rights and democratic freedom. Since the election is a highly competitive process, all competing players need to ensure that the stadium is clean and level.
Citizen's freedom, including the right to form political parties and other human rights related to freedom of choice, is a prerequisite for transparent and democratic elections. Powerful persons must not be allowed to enjoy the benefits of the office. Therefore, observation of the elections is essential to a fair and democratic election.
