Due to this, they are unable to get admission to a law college after +2 and they think that there are no other colleges other than Tribhuwan University's colleges and Purbanchal University's colleges. Law Colleges in Nepal after 12 Class (BALLB Colleges in Nepal)
Many law colleges offer legal education at the bachelor level after 12 classes. Here bachelor level means bachelor of law after +2 i.e. BALLB, not bachelor of law after bachelor in any other faculty i.e. LLB.
As per my information, there are 5 Universities that are offering a bachelor's in law after +2. I have discussed it in detail.
University Offering Bachelor in Law after 12 Class
Tribhuwan University (TU)
Tribhuwan University is the first University to offer legal education (BALLB) after +2 in 2010 AD under the annual system. However, the annual system was replaced by a semester system in 2017 AD. Three law colleges under Tribhuwan University offer BALLB after +2 from any faculty.
Purbanchal University (PU)
Purbanchal University also started teaching BALLB in 2010 AD under the annual system and still, Purbanchal University has been teaching BALLB Courses in the annual system. There are also three colleges offering the BALLB program after +2 from any faculty under Purbanchal University.
Kathmandu University (KU)
Kathmandu University is not offering a BALLB program but it is offering a BBM LLB program which can be studied after +2 with any faculty.
Other University
After establishing a lot of +2 law colleges in Nepal, the number of BALLB offering Colleges has also increased after 2017 BS. Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) and Rajashree Janak University (RJU) are also offering the BALLB program.
Note:- BALLB Entrance Exam taken by Faculty of Law for 280 students under Tribhuwan University. You have to fill out the BALLB entrance exam in either the Nepal Law Campus or the Prithvi Narayan Campus for the BALLB Entrance Exam. When you submit your form, you have to take an exam in your respective college. Results will be published jointly and admission is done based on merit list.
Colleges under other universities conduct their own entrance exam as per their needs.
